I created The Positive Pin™ in 2009 to serve as as a reminder of the importance of keeping a positive attitude. At the time I was going through what I thought was a tough time. In hindsight it was nothing but a very small challenge in the grand scheme of things. There’s no doubt I had a negative attitude the morning that I came up with this idea, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that there were people out there that would trade places with me in an instant. People like Noah Miller, someone I had the pleasure of interviewing for my Project Positivity Blog. Noah is fighting terminal cancer, and I guarantee that he would trade places with me in an instant; no matter what I was going through.
I needed something that I could look at every day to serve as a reminder to focus on all of the good in the world. It’s been proven that we become what we think about, and people that dwell on negativity and only focus on bad things in life, live negative sad lives. I choose positivity, and it’s my goal to share my positive movement with the world.
So please consider getting one or more Positive Pins™ to wear or share with the world. It’s my belief that the world needs more positivity and it all starts with you and I doing our part.
I’m happy you’re here.
